About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Shopify Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Shopify frontend development (themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend development (custom apps, APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations).

You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores while developing scalable backend solutions that enhance business operations and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify eCommerce stores.

•   Build and customize Shopify themes, templates, and sections using Liquid.

•   Develop responsive and interactive storefronts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.

•   Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect Shopify pages.

•   Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and backend services.

•   Integrate Shopify with third-party platforms such as CRM, ERP, payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.

•   Build and consume Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs.

•   Implement Shopify Webhooks for real-time data synchronization.

•   Optimize Shopify stores for performance, scalability, security, and SEO best practices.

•   Troubleshoot and resolve frontend and backend issues.

•   Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, content teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

•   Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features and integrations.

•   Utilize AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•   1–3 years of professional experience in Shopify development.

•   Strong experience with Shopify theme development using Liquid.

•   Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), AJAX, and JSON.

•   Experience with Shopify REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and Webhooks.

•   Hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js/Express.js or PHP/Laravel.

•   Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.

•   Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

•   Experience with Git and version control systems.

•   Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

•   Knowledge of eCommerce workflows, including product management, checkout, payment, and order processing.

•   Basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimization.

•   Ability to analyze business requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

•   Experience with Shopify CLI and custom app development.

•   Knowledge of Hydrogen, Remix, or modern JavaScript frameworks is an added advantage.

•   Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or DigitalOcean.

•   Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

•   Basic knowledge of image editing tools such as Photoshop or Figma.
